Selection Process:
The selection process consists of four phases:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE): 80 objective-type questions on General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and General Hindi/General English (60 minutes, 0.25 negative marking)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): For men – 5 Km race in 24 minutes, For women – 1.6 Km race in 8 minutes 30 seconds
- Physical Standard Test (PST): Height and chest circumference measurements must meet specific criteria
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME): Assessment of physical fitness and suitability for the post
